I know this is an "ad" for a streaming series: a staged experiential stunt meant to generate earned media and posts exactly like this one.
And I realize this video would have been heavily edited.
And that not everybody reacted favourably to seeing a half-human-half-owl baby that looked really, really, real.
I'm pleasantly surprised by how many positive reactions the film crew was able to capture.
How many people were willing to accept this "bird baby" for who he was, even though he was noticeably different from the rest of us.
Maybe there's hope for us yet.
