ADdicted: Skip X Seth Rogen

There are several reasons I love Skip's "Skip to the Good Part" brand campaign.
First, because I enjoy most of Seth Rogen's work and humour: I particularly loved "The Studio", which he produced for AppleTV and for which he won a truckload of Emmy awards in 2025. Rogen starring in a brand campaign is almost certainly going to earn my attention, especially one as farcical as this one.
Second, I'm a big fan of the entertainment industry, and an ad that depicts two Hollywood writers trying to generate an idea for their next film would naturally appeal to me.
But perhaps the biggest reason I love this ad is because I'm a marketer who pays attention to ads, so I know how rare it is to find a funny ad where the humour highlights, rather than obscures, the primary message being communicated.
"Skip Kills Movie Ideas" isn't the primary message of this ad, of course.
But Skip does eliminate most reasons why movie protagonists would ever have to leave their homes... so it might as well be.
Skip may ruin Seth's movie ideas, but this Skip X Seth Rogen ad works really, really well.
