FanDuel's Duel Fan campaign

This is one of the smartest promotions I've seen in a while.

FanDuel launched a "Duel Fan" campaign on a "distinctly Canadian insight: many football fans here don’t support just one national team during the tournament."*

The solution? Scarves that represent two countries simultaneously.

I love a campaign based on a great insight.

And this is definitely that.

Woman in a Canada and Korea Republic scarf stands before a graffiti wall, tossing a soccer ball, looking calm.

P.S. I don't typically watch most sports, but I'd normally be screaming FORZA ITALIA loudly and often during the World Cup. But since Italy didn't qualify this year, GO CANADA, EH?!?

* I love the fact that the wording used in the news release is "Tournament", which helps ensure a litigation-happy FIFA can't go after FanDuel for leveraging the World Cup without being an official corporate sponsor.
